Anyone use VENOM?
Anyone use any Venom electronics? I wanna get the module with Temp, volt meter, and F.S. I'll be running Twins...does this mean I need two? Venom-Racing.Com doesn't explain the SPEED METER how it installs. Lets see your set-up

I had a Venom Temp gauge and was pretty disappointed with it. The temp readings we not that accurate, it was hard to see in the sun, and the batteries died very quickly.

For the speed meter I believe you put a magnet on one drive axle and theres a sensor that reads how many times the magnest go past. I believe you have to enter the tire diameter.

Useless items. Running twins you would need 2 temp guages.
For the price of 2 venoms you could buy a decent handheld unit that is far more accurate.

Ya.......probably right. those temp monitors have fail safe funcsion and volt meter. No sense in having 2 FS and VM's. Maybe I'll just get the volt meter or are those crap too.

I wouldn't trust Venom. I bought two batteries this year and have already had them both fail on me. I've got 2 of the Traxxas flat packs as well and haven't had a single problem with them.
First pack wouldn't hold a charge and the second pack (in a different vehicle) melted itself somehow.
