The warhead evo is weak. it has alot of weak points to it. The rt x27 is supposed to be an upgraded warhead with stronger parts so if anything get the rtx. It looks like a cool truck but doing all my research when I was looking steered me away from the warhead. My local shop used to sell teh warhead but he stopped selling them because thats all he worked on. He has a huge box of broken parts that he showed me because I really wanted one. I left there not even thinking about getting one. There are soo many other better trucks for the money.

the warhead isnet a bad truck stock, but you will be going through topshaft gears alot, I used to have one but sold it due to it being broke more then running, If I was you I would spend your money on another truck

have you tried looking at google or the "any one own a warhead" thread? its kinda annouying when people start a new thread on somthing already talked about alot more in another thread...anyway...get the aftershock from losi duratraxs brands are horrible i have proof i own a nitro evader st and vendetta st and they are both in need of new parts every month. i just bought an aftershock and its the best car so far, only have 6 tanks thru it and i like it best. go to "anyone own an aftershock" which is my thread i started a while ago and get help on the aftershock.

It's funny to hear the I like this don't buy this stories on the fourum. I have the warhead evo and I put on some upgrades and I have a great time with the truck and I have very little problem with it. My sons aftershock has broke more parts then mine. He bump into a tree once not very hard and the shock shaft broke. So he buys the upgraded shaft and bumps another tree a couple of weeks later and the shaft breaks again. The aftershock shock shafts are a week point. I have spoken with a guy at the hobby shop who sold is savage because he got tired of fixing it all the time. So really which truck is better? I think it all comes down to a few points. Get a truck that has good parts support at your local hobby shop. Or buy the truck for its looks good. Just remember it is a hobby and no matter what rc truck you buy something will break on it and if someone tries to tell you different then they are lying.

DONT GET THE WARHEAD!!! Look into the new tmaxx 3.3. I have the old 3.3 and thats my most reliable monster truck and i have the lst2 (hopped up aftershock), and a warhead (been broken for 2 months and fixed about 300 times), the tmaxx 3.3 is all new and i wish i waited because the thing looks sick comes with the best starter ever (ez start push button) also it doesnt go through fuel like the big bores and gets about 10-15 minutes outta a tank, INSTANT WHEELIES and it has the best aftermarket potential (most aftermarket parts on the market) its an awesome truck!!!! I also argee with davido if you want something that doesnt break at all than dont buy a monster truck they all got issues[&:]

You have to be kidding me with the t-maxx.. I have quite a bit experience with the newest t-maxx, and wouldn't even put it on the list.. not when the Revo can be picked up for a few bucks more.

you have the brand new completely redesigned tmaxx 3.3? Also i dont know where your getting your pricing from but you can get the new upgraded tmaxx 3.3 for $389 plus tower is doing the $20 over $149 so you can get it for $369, how is that near the revo's $514 price tag? [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXUUM4**&P=0]tmaxx price[/link] [link=http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitro/maxx/tmaxx4908/trx_tmaxx4908.htm]traxxas tmaxx site[/link] i have last years and i love it this one looks about 3-4 times better plus its cheaper than a warhead!!!!!
