Your better off getting a aftershocks, mgt or savage.
Cause sense your looking at the terror your probably on a budget right?
Those are all good budget cars.
The terror has lots of issues and if your new to nitro your going to hate that engine.

The aftershock is about 30 more dollars. 329 with free shipping at ultimatehobbies.com http://www.ultimatehobbies.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=LOSB0012!1002
319 + shipping at Amainhobbies.com http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/7328 Add it to your cart and the price goes down.

Don't get the terror. There is so much that is cheep about that truck that it is not worth it. Everything about the engine is junk, and the servos are junk, and the tires are junk. Get an Aftershock.

Need a little help..I have an MGT 8.0..Working on trying to get it started. I noticed fuel (a nice amount ) was coming out of the exhuast..I don't mean white smoke..darker looking fluid. Can you suggest anything.

I finally got it started and then it cuts off..Any help is appreciated.

Tks!

I have seven Terrors, the servos are junk, the engine is great, but like a Picco, you have to seal it up. The little Tower 25 will flat wail. That being said, none of mine have the original engine on them. An Axial 28 or 32, Hpi 4.6 or a Picco-Ofna-Orion 26 makes these trucks little rockets. There is very little to damage in the drive train, they are some kind of stout there. The tires must be a personal preference as I like them and have not changed out any. I run them all the time, normally as hard as they will run. They are a load of fun to drive, you will need the wheelie bar because of the design. The chassis plates will bend before you break an A-arm or hinge pin. The front bumpers are junk, but cheap to replace, so I do not mind that. There is no joints in the center shaft and no transmission or slipper clutch to fry. I think the differentials are tougher than a Savage. I do not care for the axle hub arrangement, but I keep a couple of spares on hand. There is a huge thread on these trucks here at RCU. Tower sends out a nice Futaba servo under warranty, to each his own I guess.

You sound like you are way too rich on fuel. Start turning the HSN in at about 1/8th turn a shot until it clears up a little. BB
