Fun Trucks
I own both the MP and the EK4. Both are fantastic vehicles in there respective class. Very tough and handle fairly well for a MT.
The EK4's power is silly. I LOVE driving this one. If you want the biggest (engine wise) and most powerful MT, EK4 is it.

Both of them are good trucks!
I would buy either one of them as my next truck. I would look and see what it cost for parts before buying one though. I know Kyosho is a bit on the high side for parts but, there is always Ebay!

RE: Monster question
If you want em big, wait for the Cen Genesis to come out. It should be hitting shelves in late january or early February. It will be quite a match for a savage or any of the other big trucks. If you want more info go to www.cenracing.com

RE: Monster question
Wanna see big?
Look at the comparison between the OFNA Titan and Savage 25 below.
Just imagine the titan beside a T-maxx. Plus nothing else to upgrade. Every gear you can imagine in this truck is hardened steel not to mention the massive cvd's.

RE: Monster question
if u want big, go 4 the fg marder. u can get it all 4 about $600 and it has a 2-stroke, 23cc 80mph+ petrol engine. not the usual nitro stuff - petrol like for ur real car. u can never break it and 1 engine lasts 12 years. its about 1 meter long.

RE: Monster question
Wow, this thread is old I already got the truck last summer and I went with a Savage. In fact I also have a MAD FORCE now. Thanks for all the suggestions though ...good thing i didn't go with what others had suggested, like the thunder quake, dirt demon, etc. because I hardly hear about those nowadays.

RE: Monster question
thunder tiger has a very touchy motors, so if you like playing with the motor more than bashing, EK-4 is the way to go
if you are still interested in the thunder quake:
-tires are the largest tire i've seen other than the (special made to order)
-the torque motor needs more power (mine is not to bad, cuz i filed the head washer aprox 15 thous to bring the plug closer to the piston, what a increase in power)
-the TQ is built for bashing, once you go through the nuts with lock tight
-size wise my TQ towers over my hand build siz weeler, that is made from a clod body and traxxas tires (largest for 2.2)
-i have installed a high torq servo to throw the big wheels around
-i bought my truck for $420 new and stuck about $80 in it between the servo and the high stall clutch, and i know they are selling for 300 now and i don't care if it sells or not, but would sell it to ya for $225.00, and you pay for all other fees to take from me to you.
