I just found this great deal on Air Land Hobbies! A Wolverine for only $255! It normally sells for $350! I only wish I had the money...
. They are also selling a Futaba 3PM for only $110! Makes you wonder how much Air Land Hobbies pays for them in the first place. [:-] Here are the links:

Only the 2.4ghz FASST versions are overpriced at $200, personally I only use ebay for most of my stuff now. 2 years ago I scored 2 NIB FASST systems, one for $147 shipped and the next for $162 shipped. There are way better deals on ebay in comparison with most hobby shop websites.

Since the Exceed-Nanda truck is so very similar to the RD Logic Wolverine, I can see why RD Logics Wolverine is now selling for much cheaper. Afterall, why pay $350 (old price) to RD Logic when you can buy the virtually very same resold truck from Exceed for a bit cheaper just by shopping around?
RD Logic Wolverine.

The clone of Wolverine made by Nanda and resold by Exceed as the Mad Beast. Nanda calls this truck the Raptor by the way, but regardless of name, the Nanda Raptor is exactly the very same as the Exceed Mad Beast. The clear difference I can see so far is tha Exceed dumped the sorry Toki engine and put in a .28ci SH (GoldenLion) engine.

Learn to read, I said hobby shop websites... Shipping time is shipping time... And yes, I've been having fun with ebay for the last 5 years, and I think it is the best source for cheap goods especially in this economic crisis where people are selling their stuff for dirt cheap prices.

My LHS SELLS them but stocks only the most BASIC parts (in truth, hardly any parts at all).
They say it is too expensive to stock all the replacement parts, and besides "We can just order them for you from our distributor via the web!"
Why would I want to "Support My Local Hobby Store" in a case like this?
I can get the same or better Price and have it Delivered to my DOOR, for Petes sake!
And probably be in possession of said parts SOONER that I could get them from MY LHS, (Without the extra drive down there to pick 'em up.)
P.S.
My LHS HAS a website, but they, "Haven't gotten around to listing their inventory on the site yet."
It only lists their Contact Info!.....
