Default RCMT's engine quality and reverse

Hello all I am not looking to start an arguement, BUT I am an electric MT driver and am looking to go nitro fuel. Which of the trucks out there under 600 dollars in kit or rtr have the most durable engines and go in reverse and also ease of starting.
Are all engines expected to wear out to the point of replace ment
in 4 to 6 gals of fuel??

Thanks for any info

Buy the cheapest RTR truck you can find, and learn how to run the engine, you probably wont get more then a gallon or 2 out of your first engine, so thats why you make it cheap, when you learn how to tune correctly, you can get alot more out of an engine!!

Default It all depends on what you are looking for??

If you are just looking to try out Nitro and not looking for the hottest thing out there then I would go with a Nitro Stampede! They have a ez-start system and a good reliable engine! I got 8 gallons out of my first one and it's still going! There are a few others that are faster and do other things better but, I like the Stampede for over all fun and toughness!
