Hi, I'm hoping some one can give me an idea of how to go about building my ownRCtruck. I dont want a fully kit vehicle simply due to the fact that I want to be able to chooseevery partI put onto the truck. ThoughI do not want to build from scratch the frame and such that would just take too much effort. So whatI need to know, is there anywhereI can just buy a basic frame and suspension setup and then buy all the custom parts and build from there? Or will having a certain frame limit me to my options of parts and etc. This will be the firstRC I build, butI find it hard to part with money just to have something everyone else has. If I am going to spend the money I would like to have a fully custom RC. Also due to the fact that this is my firstRC build and first actual quality RC, any information pros and cons of trying a build this way, how intricate the setup of theRC really is, how many parts really are there, and other details of RC anatomy would help greatly. What does a kit actually include? Are there different levels of kits? (meaning do some come with more some come with bare minimal) Also Nitro vs Electric? Any suggestions or sites or anything at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank You in advance...
P.S. This is most likely the first part of many questions as I gather more information.

Just a warning, what you are seeking will be beyond difficult if this is your first build. A specific chassis will of course limit you options on part usage depending on what vehicle class you are going for. I guess this type of scenario would be most applicable to rock crawlers and scale vehicles, but you need to be more specific in what you want. Honestly, I'm just going to say its going to be downright impossible with no experience. Oh, and now vehicle will ever be "custom" with the use of all store bought parts. Sure you can upgrade the hell out of it, but unless you get your own stuff fabricated/ use tons of different parts from different vehicles and make some kind of frankenstein R/C- well you get the point.
Ah ok so Ijust read the last 2-3 sentences of your post properly, ok then- you definitely need a google/ RCU search session to find those answers. The amount of R/Cs and different platforms out now is just overwhelming. First, decide if you'd like a car/truck/monster/buggy whatnot and do some research in that respected category.
