TMaxx Help Needed
What is the easiest way to replace the brake pad without taking whole truck apart?
I have 2 TMaxx 2.5's and my wife's needs the brake replaced. Someone needs to put together a "How to" document out for the normal repair stuff like this.

How to:
Remove all the screws that hold the tranny in place. You know the ones on the underside that go through the chassis, and braces. Take the ball cup off the carb, this way you can move the throttle linkage out of the way. Then disconnect the forward/reverse linkage and twist the servo so it will be out of the way also. You should be able to slide the entire tranny out. One thing you might have to do is remove the slider axles from the tranny. That is easy all you need to do is remove the one screw. I have MIP center CVD's and I can remove my entire tranny by only removeing one of the CVD's. Usually the rear one, because that one does not have the brake on it. Give it a shot. You might have to tug on it a little, but it should come out. I tear mine out that way all the time, infact I did it today. .....

Hey - I was able to replace the brakes based on the instructions above. All works well. But now it still does not stop well.
I adjusted everything while it is not running if I press brakes it will stop and wheels can not turn. THat is with electronics on and engine off.
When I start the engine and press the brakes it can still role. Now when you start it it wants to take off by itself. I think I need to retune for that.
Other than little to no brakes it runs great!
