well first you could start off by adding a heavier bumper also u can gear your engine lower so you will have more acceleration which means more wheelies also if its a new engine it wont wheelie as well run a few more tanks through it thats all i can think of right now good luck poppin some wheelies

For wheelies - what is better stiffer or softer rear suspension?

Stiffer is definately better. If not the suspension will absorb the force that would be a wheelie if it's soft.

Default My maxx does wheelies with no hop ups

I have a maxx 2.5. I don't know what you have, but i didn't have to add anything to mine, just tune your high speed needle a little bit. Oh and by the way add a heavier bumber doesn't change the center of gravity, it only weighs the rear end of the truck down.

My XTM .18 with an 18T tooth will push the front up a bit through mid range revs, happened during a race and it was amusing. Lowering the gears (smaller clutchbell or bigger spur gear) will do it.

The stock trx 2.5 has the power to lift that truck? thats pretty cool maybe ill get one. My mp did them at about 15mph with a hyper 8P. The new trx is pretty powerful.

I believe its all in the tuning.
If its sluggies on the low end, forget wheelies, tune it right!

If one can do it, all of em can cuz theyre all the same except for the fuel and the tuning right?!

I have 2 stock TMaxx 2.5's they both do wheelies. Only on one I changed the exhaust and lowered is. With it lowered it is hard to do the wheelies but it does do them.

well the altitude will also affect it.
the higher the altitude less power.

Mine does wheelies stock. I am just tyring to get it to do them everytime. Figure harder suspension would get more wheelies out of it. My wife loves pulling more wheelies with her TMaxx.

Default If it is a stock 2.5?

Just add some spacers to the rear shocks to stiffen them up and as Buggies said "Tune it right"! Personally if it's going to take leaning it out too much just to get it to wheelie I would give up the quest for pointing the truck upward! Just get a bigger engine and run it rich and hope it will do the trick!
