Hey guys. I just recently bought a Cen Genesis .46 LE used here on RCU. It's to my understanding that the stock steering servo is fairly underpowered. I think the specs say it's somewhere around the 144oz range. That seems like a pretty good amount of torque to me, but from what I've read in the reviews, the huge tires on this truck are still almost too much for the servo. So, I've been looking at several online hobby shops, and haven't found any servos that are much higer in torque. So, can anyone give me any suggestions on some high torque servos that would be over the 200oz range? Thanks.

Hiteck 7950TH or the JR9100HVT are some serious torque monsters, and for the Cenchain trucks, that is what I would put in it. These servos produce over 480in-ozf torque and turn at a 60degree sweep in a .12sec transit time.
Let me warn you, these servos are not cheap. I think around $150-200USD for these (I do not know their exact current selling prices)
Some other high torque servos are Hitecs 5995, 5955, & 7955 servos, all producing 333in-ozf torque, and these gravitate around $100 each.

Thanks guys, I was wanting to stay around the $100 range, I went to my LHS yesterday, and they had some really expensive ones, like $180 and I wasn't gonna do that, but I'll look into the others...thanks.

Look at a used 5955tg which still run around $100 used but with titanium gears you don't really have to worry about wear. They sell for around $90 on ebay or even here on rcu for sale section.
