Default air filter replacement

does anyone know if the airfilter on my tmaxx should be replaced after a certain amount of time, the reason why i ask is because when i take the airfilter off it seems to run i bit faster

also my suspension does seem to be that good, when i press it down it only comes back up half way ,maybe thats right but if any1 can enlighten me i would be very thankfull,oh nearly forgot its the stock suspension.

Default Your air cleaner,

Can last for some time as long as you keep it clean! You should change out the foam when it starts to go bad (falling apart)! Your shocks are weak if they are still stock? Get some threaded aluminum shocks and you will be much happier with how it handles and jumps!

Default I am not always the best person to ask about where is the best place!

I normally buy from Tower Hobbies and on Ebay! I know that Tower is not always the cheapest but they have great service in my Book! Ebay can be much cheaper then anywhere else but, that all depends on the bidding! If you are going to get a new air filter just go and get a Motor Saver!

Yes a motor will run better without any air filter because teh air filter does cause some amount of friction/drag.
But I dont think this should be your benchmark for deciding whether the filter is good or bad.

yeah motor savers seem to be very popular indeed!

I have a K&N on mine.. and I like the fact that there are no crevices where dirt can go in.
