One of your differentials is turned around. Take either the front or the back diff out and rotate it around 180*. This should solve your problem.....

Default Good thinking!

The D-Man comes through again! When I was putting one of my Maxx's back together I was almost done when I looked at the diff's and one had the screws facing one way and the other the other way so, instead of taking it apart I downloaded the exploded view and saw that it is supposed to be this way! Anyway I would have never thought of that Dlock!

The rear diff needs to be rotated. To move in the right direction, your input gear for the rear diff should rotate clockwise, and the outputs should roll in the forward motion. If it doesn't, rotate 180 deg. :surprised

Default It sounds like,

The guy that gave it to you took it apart and did not put it together right! Maybe that's why he gave it away because it looked broken to him?LOL Your gain is his loss!

 I always miss these things, I guess all just have to buy a savage so I can help some folks out.

Anyways make sure the diffs are spinning in the right dirrection, cause if their both in 180 off, when you fire the truck up, forward will be reverse and reverse will be forward!! There I tried to help a little Now I feel better!!
