Default .15 Tmaxx Must BE BIGGER

I ahve an Old School T-Maxx, with a megateck .16 in it. But I wanna go Bigger. I know I can spend a couple hundred and get upgraded, But someone told me that the only thing you really need to do is drill new mounting holed in teh Chassis, to fit the bigger engine mount.

Does anyone know if this is True?

If you go with a 21 or bigger you need to move your tranny forward 1 hole and dremel it to fit the brake disc.
Then you will have enough room to drill and mount the motor.

You don't need to buy new arms for a motor swap with a Sirio .18. However, if you do change over to a widemaxx suspension later down the line, you must replace both upper/lower arms, as well as the turnbuckles. You could even put a Traxxas 2.5 in there, with no mods, and have more power than the TRX 15 or the Megatech......
