Default Hyper 21 8 Port Question

IS IT NORMAL FOR THIS ENGINE TO REALLY HARD TO PULL THE STARTER?EVEN WHEN THERE IS NO PLUG INSTALLED IT SEEMS LIKE IT IS REALLY TIGHT AT THE TOP OF THE HEAD. IT WILL RUN FOR 3 OR 4 MINUTES AND DIE OFF. I DID TWO TANKS STATICALLY BECAUSE IT DIES OFF IF I TOUCH THE TRIGGER AND THE GLOW PLUG KEEPS BLOWING, I USED 3 ALREADY AND I AM NOT EVEN DONE WITH MY THIRD TANK. ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEA? I AM LOST NOT TO MENTION FRUSTRATED. I APPRECIATE ALL THE HELP.
THANKS!

From what I have read on this forum it's normal for that engine to be hard to pull! Also break-in is longer then what they tell you in the manual! It took almost a gallon to break-in my Force .25 but, now it runs great!

BETWEEN 180 TO 210. IT IS ALSO 90 DEGREES AMBIENT TEMP. DOES THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Default Sounds like your running too rich?

A good running temp should be around 220-250 depending on the engine! Running too lean or too rich can cause you to burn up plugs! What % nitro are you running and what plug?

Default Hyper 21 8 Port Question

Hes just breaking the engine in, and with those temps, he his pretty much right on the head. Just lean out the low speed a tad maybe 1/4 turn or so. Also what plugs are you running?
