CVEC dealer?
Hello people!
I want to know how the HECK I can buy a CVEC tuned pipe for my 2.5 TMAXX (I hear the latest and greatest rear-exhaust CVEC is the z800). I cannot, however, find ANY online dealer that sells these things.... Why is that?
Does anyone know of an online store that sells these?
Also, how much can I expect to pay for a z800?
TIA.

CVEC dealer?
I have not heard about the z800, only the z700. Then again I have not really been keeping up with them. I think Stormer Hobbies https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com carries them, and maybe Tower Hobbies http://www.towerhobbies.com/
I posted this in another thread, about 2 weeks ago.
I have had the CVEC Rear exhaust for the 2.5 Maxx. I would say there was a small increase in the bottom end, and much smoother transition through all the RPM's. The only problem I encountered with it was when I jumped. If I landed on my rear end, which I did a lot since I was new at this, the force from the pipe hitting the ground would get transfered to the engine. This would cause me to break engine mounts. I broke 2 of them in a 1 week period. I ended up ditching the CVEC pipe, getting a heavier duty engine mount, and putting the stock pipe back on.
If you want I will sell you my old one. It's not the prettiest pipe out there, but it seals fine, and structurally is in good condition. Let me know.....

Thanks!
Thanks for the info, I have just purchased my CVEC!!!!
It seems, from what I have read, that the z700 first came out, then was replaced by the z800. I have no idea what the difference is, but they seems to not sell the z700 anymore.
Thanks.
