If it died after only one run, did you charge the battery?? Cause if theres not enough power the servo will not work at all!! Its not like a standard servo that will work untill the battery its drained all the way down!!

Thanks man but I checked that I have 2 in my 950 and I don't think it's the battery. If I switch channels the one that has the steering duties will turn as normal. Also I noticed some smoke from the wires at the base of the servo after about 15 sec of haveing the battery pluged in. The servo was steaming hot. I have no idea how this could just happen. Last night I changed it out with a stock cheap servo I had and they both work with out chargeing the RX pack. At a lost here cause it's 3 weeks old and Tower wants me to deal with Hitec. I will call them today and hope to get this resolved fast and with out coming out my pocket with more then shipping. Thanks for the help anyone using one of these servos?

Yup those digital servos (just about any brand) will drain batteries pretty quick. Throw in a fresh set of alkaline in the pack and see if it works again, with that 5625, you might need at least an 1800 mAh if you use rechargables. I had a 5945 for a while and it killed batteries and was told putting two sets of batteries in paralell (via Y cable perhaps) fixes the problem.

LOL! 2 sets!
WARNING: He said PARALLEL! If you put it in serial, you will boost it to 12V and FRY YOUR RX!! Do not try this if you dont know what your doing. You have been warned.
I have a 925/945 and I get great run times from them(6v pack 1100mA. MAybe its because I have em in a buggy where it doesnt do much. This is really really overkill..lol
If I get a MT, I'm gonna put the 945 on it, use the 925 for steering and put something else for throttle.

645= 130x.20 @ 6volts
925= 103x.08 @ 6volts
945= 153x.12 @ 6volts
The digital servos ad about 30oz of torque to each servo
5645=164.2x.18 @ 6
5925=127.7x.08 @6
5945=180.53x.13@6
