How do i adjust the shift point on my 1st gen t-maxx?
Ok, is it the same way as the savage? Just take off that thing that plugs those two holes on the tranny and there should be a screw to turn? If so i cant get the inside of that to turn at all. I turn the tires, nothing. I turn the spur gear and nothing will trun in there. Also, ill spin the spur gear as fast as I can and it wont move the truck, but if i start the truck and give it a little gas it will move. IDK why i cant get it to move, must have to be spinning real fast to engage it??

oh yea it think i could do that!!!! aheh aheh or not. I would just like to know how.... so if i needed to run rich for any reason then it could shift. If i richen it up then it dont like to shift at all.

Well,
If your running it that rich then it's not running right! There is no need to have it that rich! I can say this about changing your shift point! If your not very careful you can snap the set screw and then your screwed!LOL If you go to the Traxxas website they have the instructions on how to change the shifting points if you must do it! You can download them so you will have them when you need them!
