RE: TOP SPEED OF 1 OF THESE BADBOYS?
Depends on how you have them set up. At the Vegas r/c bike races last summer, the 1/5 nitro bikes were radared down the back straight at 44mph (220mph to scale). That's MotoGP speeds! One of my brushless bikes will match that if I gear it for top end.
As far as price, getting a 1/5 bike together will run anywhere from $300 for a Thunder Tiger RTR Ducati999 for running stock class, up to a grand for a nitro or brushless bike with all the mods.

It's always a riot to watch the car guys send the bike every which way but the right way when I let them try them out. They usually end up afraid to get it past 5mph!

lol i didn't mean with you.
No, you don't NEED to scale time. you're only scaling one part-one has to remain constant if you wish it to remain in scale.
1 second is 1 second, period. a 1/5 scale motorcycle, 1 foot=5 feet.
if you don't understand that you don't need to scale time, you need to stay out of these discussions, truck.

RE: TOP SPEED OF 1 OF THESE BADBOYS?
hmm 1/200th.. no
lets do the math 1000cc per liter if you took a nitro engine and scaled it exactly to 1 liter.. then your 2 cc engine makes MORE hp than its 1 liter counterpart
example OS.12tz makes 1.5hp its 2.11cc upscale to 1 liter the math "rounded" 2cc divided x1000 =500 to get the amount we need to multiply the hp by
500x1.5 = 750hp so .. lets say you have the .12tz in a TT bike and the real ducati has the desmotronic real ducatti is 999cc makes 150hp or .15hp per cc
we know what hp the .12 makes scaled up sooo.. the nitro in a full scale versio would make 5times more hp than its counterpart that its formed after
now of course this is all based on keepin the original rpm range on the nitro even with the loss of rpm 20k + the nitro would still most likely produce more than 3x the hp
of its real counterpart so .. in scale the lil nitro bike makes more hp hands down than its full size counterpart lol..
ok so im a geek and i think about this kinda stuff all the time but hey .. at least i have stuff to post about

You think that is amazing, Nic the winner of this years WFRC challenge did 160 with his 1/10 scale dirt oval car. That would be 1600 mph scale. Holy ****!
