Kyosho NSR500?
Hi Gang,
I have an older Kyosho NSR500 with the static rider. I got it way back around 1989 or so... I am in need of a battery pack for it, where can I get one?
I tried one like this: http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/produc...57202888d4b035 but the 2/3A cells are too big to fit in the chassis, I guess the newer HOR version is a bit larger in the lower chassis area...
I have a pic of my bike in my model gallery...
Thanks,

Try this
http://2wheelhobbies.com/product_inf...roducts_id=413
OOPS that is the same thing.[:@]
You could always go LIPO but you will need a low voltage cutoff or an upgraded ESC capable of that. Or you could buy the Venom RTR and just have fun.

RE: Kyosho NSR500?
thanks for the reply.
No way I am going LiPo with this bike... I am not gonna spend that kinda money for a battery, charger, and upgraded electronics for such an old rc and just to mess around with it in the driveway...
I just want the stock style battery but I don't know what size the thing is?

RE: Kyosho NSR500?
I contacted the guys over at www.cheapbatterypacks.com and gave them the dimensions the pack from the manual and they said it would be a pack of 2/3AA cells.
I placed an order for a pack and we'll see how it works...
