Engine questions...Please help....
So...
I'm building one of these fabulous Ducati's, test drove one and loved it!!
My question(s) is/are...
Will an OS .15 CV-R with the square head fit in this little gem???
What mods might I need to do to make it fit??
AAlso, anything that might help make the build go any smoother, snags I may run into, or things I should change please let me know.
I'm building from scratch, thats how Ive done all the RC vehicles, ya learn alot that way, and the pocket book isn't so stressed.
Thanks in advance for all your guys help.

RE: Engine questions...Please help....
There have been some fitted with OS and TT .18 engines,so basically any small block will fit.You might possibly have to trim the fins if they foul the frame.
You'll need a pull start engine preferably with a Tiger drive type backplate.
I did fit a Rossi .12 pull start in one but it required some filing on the frame to clear the plastic pull start, and entailed moving the engine towards the RH side.
The TT engine fits very close to the LH frame and you'll probably need to drill and tap new engine lug mounting holes in the engine mounts so that you can move the engine over to clear the backplate screws.

Thanks for the reply. I assumed there would be some modification to the frame, but didn't think about the engine mounts.
I suppose its all about trial and error.
Thanks again.
