i own a rustler 2.5 and i stored it for the winter and i wanted to try and start it but it wont start. i put gas in the carburetor and it will start untill the the gas in the carb is used up. also i see bubbles/gas come out from where the heat sink meets the engine. is this a symptom of air lean in engine. i made sure the heat sink screws were tight.

sounds like no fuel is getting through the pipes/carb. just flush it out with wd40 or some fresh fuel and replace the fuel line. this should solve the fuel starve issue. but the bubbles from the head... maybe try removing and cleaning all of the surfaces and shims. if there s a small bit of dirt it will let it leak. have fun
