Hi I’ve just revived my rc hobby and bought an old kyosho outlaw rampage pro with a os .12cv.
the compression feels a bit low and I’m wondering if any in here can help me out with find parts?
I would like to use the original engine.

If no parts can be found what engine would you recommend for that car?

I wouldn’t bother with finding parts for the old OS. If they can even be found, they’ll cost more than the engine is worth. Quite honestly, I would look for a Novarossi or Picco .12 or .15. Better quality engine, easier to tune, and spare parts are easier to find. As much as I hate to say it, EBay is probably the best place to find parts.

cv12 wasn't a very powerful motor in the first place. If you just have to use the cv12 you might could have it pinched. There's a ton of better motors out there. I'd just pick one. That's probably not the original motor, anyway.
