Default Rustler Thread

Hey, everyone with a Traxxas Nitro Rustler, lets get some pics and info on what you've done to your truck (hop-ups, engines, setups, etc.).

I have a very-close-to-stock Rustler. I've added blue anodized nuts everywhere I can, I just got a Fantom FR12 engine, I have the JR XR3 3-channel radio system, and I will soon have the Traxxas blue anodized manifold and Associated low end tuned pipe. I want a bunch of stuff from RDRacingProducts like CF top plate, CF shock towers, silver hub carriers, silver turning knockles, blue anodized tie bar, and a silver front bumper; I also want some stuff from NemScaleCars, like blue anodized a arms (I just don't have the money).

HA! alright let's get some pic's up! I am gonna try to get some action shot's this weekend.

This is the pro .15 and the first thing I've done is switch from the plastic spur to a Robinson Racing steel spur. The more metal the better. And it seem's to me you should start with the gearing. TOOOO MUCH power for plastic.

Oh yeah, I forgot. I also have a Great Planes fuel filter, ProLine Edge on the front, ProLine Step Pin T in the back (Traxxas dish rims on all four), and, for street, I have ProLine Speed Hawg II's all around (and some nice chrome rims; don't remember what kind. I'd put up some pics, but I have my pics on ImageStation.com, and you have to be able to sign in there to see any pics. Does anyone know of a better picture hosting website that's FREE? Send me a private message if do.

Hey, sk8r8919, the cooling head is red 'cause it's a Fantom .12 engine. I just put it in about a week ago. I haven't even gotten it broken in yet b/c I'm having some problems with the exhaust leaking, so I'm waiting until my mom will order a new pipe and manifold for me (I'm paying for it, but I have to have a credit card) so I can drive it again. Once I get it up and running, I'll post some pics of my Rustler in action instead of inside, "posing" for the camera[8D].
