I went and broke the handle off the cord of my pull-starter. On that particular pull, the truck started, but when I gave it throttle, it was making a weirdish noise and acted like the clutch was slipping. I would have thought it would have ran with the pull cord broken, as you can run one with a pull cord using a starter box. Did I break something more than the pull handle?

Well, I repaired it.

It's pretty tough when the whole spring comes out. I just have to keep from breaking it until my starter box arrives now.
