I was looking at the tires from Team Orion and it says the inner diameter is 2-1/8 inches. What my question is whould i beable to mount them on 2.2inch rims, or are 2-1/8 and 2.2inches the same thing?

It's not the exact same. 2.2" is 2 2/10", but their mounted to the same rims. What I'm saying is, yes, they will work on 2.2 rims.
