Default RE: Official NITRO RUSTLER thread!!

i have a street rusty lots of mods some engine work hope you like.............................. i run two diffrent tuned pipes one for more top end and one for more lowend like the 2.5r needs more low end lol.......anyway custom built rear shocks pippy backs on the front. The rear shock tower i custom made its heavy duty3.47mm thickaluniumplate. the front brush gaurd / skid plate i made to custom i cut it in to the shop of the iron crosswith a grinder then bent it to make a skid plate then measured and drilled holes to mount on chassis and holes to vent air in the front.then counter sunk holes so would be flush. the engine has a shaved rod and flywheel and has been ported and polished.. the discolered pipe is a dual chamber built pipe and has raw finish which is exztactly what i wanted rpm arms dubro lines anda dubro fuel filter; rb inovations air filter, futaba throttle servo, andjust replaced water proofed reciver...i run proline 2.2 bully rims all way round. Road rage 2.2 streets in the back and 2.2 kysho ribs in the front u be amazed at how well the ribs handle street and no wear on my front tires what so ever.... anyway not done with it just a fhew uprades....more to come soon

Okay I don't know how to start a new topic in this Rusty thread so ill just post here, I have had the 3.3 for quite some time and it's been good to me but I want more consistent power, she will pull the front wheels off when she wants to but I want on demand wheelies! Any suggestions? I have the 2 speed jato tranny in it now but I'm thinking I'm going back to the bullet proof rusty tranny...  Oh and also I am running 22/70 rusty and 22/56 in the jato tranny.
If someone could tell me how to post pics on here with my cell I can show you guys the work over the last 8 years! Thanks

Newb here.  I have a rustler and haven't ran it in years since I cracked the exhaust against a curb.  Hoping to get it back running here soon.  My son is 9 now and has been begging me.  lol
