Im thinkin about making aluminum peices for xxx-nt. I havent seen many aluminum parts for it. Can any owners of the xxx-nt tell me what they think? Thanks for the help

do you have a cnc mill? rctrix makes some aluminum parts for the nt. it wouldnt be very hard to make bulkheads if you have a good mill and can get your hands on some aircraft aluminum. also a lightened chassis would be cool and not to hard to make.

i think u should stick with plastic because aluminum doesnt give at all so it will break the plastic parts that it is connected to

thats why you make parts that you dont want to break out of aluminum, such as hub cariers, and pivot blocks. these parts are hard to break anyways. a-arms in aluminum cause other parts to break because they are ment to break before anything else, and if they dont something else will.
