ya then you should defintly build a bmx track. but keep in mind both bmx and rc when you are making it. i used to ride bmx, but i quit and started skateboarding. i still like to jump my mountain bike once in a while though.

5ft??? have fun replacing parts on both your bike and car. thats big, maybe too big for a rc car. just dont make it too steep or you will be bending chassis when you come down out of a 20ft air. i have a old ramp i made for biking along time ago, its about 2 to 2and1/2ft tall. id always jump my t3(electric stadium truck) out of it and easily get 6 feet high. so one day me and my brother put stuff under the end of it to make it steeper. i was getting at least 10 feet of air and rolling away. i think i did eventually brake something, but i got about 10 good jumps. we got alot of good footage of the ramp. once i set up a landing ramp about 25 feet away from the first ramp, i landed perfectly into the other side, it was great. but then i missed and hit the front of the landing ramp. it only broke the body but looked awsome. it stoped instantly lol. my brother jumped over a road with the ramp once to. i tried it and slammed into the curb on the other side upside down. but anyways, ive been thinking about making a track too, if my dad ever lets me.

My son and I are building a backyard track at this time also. Make sure you leave plenty of room for run outs it you miss turns, over jump, etc. Also make sure and use the drain tubing and absolutely nothing solid too close to the track. We first had some timbers along side and I hit one at full throttle coming out of a high speed turn with just my right front tire. Yeah a new front arm was in order after that lesson. Whoop-ti-dos (that looks as if it's spelled wrong!) are a blast and a real challenge for racing, burms are great for those monster roost coming out of turns, leave enough room after the big jumps to use throttle or brake for mid air corrections also.

Free Agent Eluder with areotec race rims, protec brake system, 43t profile whipit chainwheel, ACS fat claws freewheel(16t), chopped handlebars to 26inches, chopped seatpost (less weight), and some other tweaks I did to it. I also have a race frame given to me by a pro (doesnt race anymore) hopefully that frame will become my next race bike.

every winter me and my friends build a sno-cross style track for our rc's. we have no shortage of snow so we build 4 foot burms, 12ft long triples, huge step ups and even tabletops. ill try to post some pics another time.
