gbaby the savage tranny is HUGE compared to the mt2. It would never work. Ive been toying with the 2 speed in the mt2 myself and Im at the point that unless you go with a big block the 2 speed wont work. There is too mcuh weight with the tires and all for it to shift properly. Im trying to find some engine mounts now so I can try to mount a .46 in mine.

Do you have any pictures on how you mounted your engine?
Check on ebay sometimes they are listed. If not I might be able to get one for you.

Not at the mo, its getting mounted on sunday, will get pics up then.
Do you think it will be ok with just one gear then ? Ive got the standard gearing and a spare 18t cluth bell, what clutch bell do you think will be better ? the 12t or 18t ?

I was running 15/52. I wouldnt go any lower then 15 though or your going to rev the engine too high. Higher then 15 and it might bog a little on take off but its gonna fly when it get going.

You could probably mount the jato one with a little work. So far there hasnt been a need for a wheelie bar though.

hey man with that engine your going to want higher gearing so I would go with the 18 tooth bell and your still going to have killer take off because of the power difference and the mt2 is lighter then any rc that the picco is meant to go into. My friend has a revo with a picco 26 and he is running 18/36 gearing and it still takes off hard. Thats one kick but engine man its going to be sweet your going to have to take some vids for us to see when its all done. I cant wait to see it.

Gbaby what mt2 do you have do you know??? Does is have cvd's in it? You might want to get the mt2 18ss diff gears and lock your rear diff or your going to be blowing bevel gears all the time.

Blowing diffs because of the added power? I've heared of diffs blowing because they ARE locked. Ya'all think it will really help?
