Default STUPID PIPE PROBLEM

alright, i just bought a dynamite 1/10 competition pipe for my academy rt4 gp. (its almost the same as the nitro mt for those who dont know.) but, the pipe is made for the left side of the car, and my car has the pipe on the right side, so is it okay if i flip it over? and whats the screw for at the front of the pipe?
