failsafes are cheap - throttle return springs are almost free. You learned that lesson the hard way, I hope others will not. Sorry to see the damage to your truck.

hit your throttle on your radio, hold it, then turn off the radio. your truck will end up continuing to head full throttle, i learned this really quick lol.

A TRS will only return a servo that has lost power - a failsafe will shut down a servo that is still receiving power but is either glitching, broken, or any other frequency related problem when a TRS doesnt have enough oomph to pull it back to idle.

i wont drive a truck without a failsafe. someone i know wasnt using one and lost contact and it went flyin into a car doing about the same damage as fastdeuce.

I find I learn my best lessons when I'm either in pain, bleeding, or costing me $$$
Have the car 40% rebuilt with some cool carbon fiber shock towers & top plate & oh heah, a brand new fail safe and RTS...............
