Default HELLLLP PLZ

i bought a new HITEC 645 servo with carbonite gears for steering in my evader, fitted perfect, no probs, went to plug it in my rx, no prob there, turned my rx on and radio to test it, both servos twitched for like a milisecond then nothing, i changed batterys in my truck AND radio and still nothing im lost cuz i dont know whats wrong....does any of you know what migth have happend or shoud i just get a new rx or radio system???

PLZ HELP i was kikin myself in the today cuz it was a perfect bashing day and tommorrow is suppost to be even nicer

try by unhooking everything and start over using just the origional servo and see if any of that works out. At this point you need to try troubleshooting the problem(s). Also if you have acess to a volt meter that would be a plus to see if the problems in your recever.

make sure your crystal is all the way in.

the battery im using is the stock one..6.45v reading on my multimeter..i plugged it in, plugged my new servo in, and put the meter to it...6.154v....it this what it shoudl read or is sumthing wrong with it??also i noticed that each time i touch the middle pin with the meter probe the servo twiches....is this unusual??? im thinking of just replacing my stock rx with a better 3 ch one...also i tried plugging in my old servo...nothing...made sure all connections were ok..which they were but still nothing...im lost...any help would be appreciated guys

idk if this is even on topic but do u have the crystals in the right spots...i know it makes a difference...try swapping the one in ur reciever with the one in ur controller...maybe it'll do the trick...

sounds like the connector from the servo is in backwards, i did that once and burned up the servo, hope it doesnt happen to yours.

nope...i just gave it a whirl on one of my aircraft receivers and it worx fine, then i went ahead and trie dit on my old am rx and switched the crystal outta my rx and into the old one and it worked...trouble it i kinda had to hack up my old rx for the connectors to work but at least i know its my rx now and power is getting to the servos, but i dont think that its picking up the signal from the tx...or its just deader then a doornail?? i dunno
