I have a Rustler with the Pro .15 engine and the starter just ground the gears up. I don't have a starter box so want to use a pull start. What is a good replacement?

that happend to me ounce. i just replaced the gears. but then later on it ate them again so i put a pull starter in. i put TRX Pro.15 pull start. works great. have no problems

Good choice on replacing the ez start. Ya just got to start in bursts rather than just holding the starter button down(ez start 1 won't handle that). Traxxas pull starts suck.
ANY pull start sucks IMO.

not really, the only time my pull start broke was when i pulled it hard and the sping popped out, it was myfault i forgot to put the screws in, i just winded it back up and workes like charm
