whats wrong?

well after a few days of waiting and working i finally have my truck together. i took the engine out to clean and decided to check for air leaks a few days ago. i found like 4 so one of them was where the pin that holds the carb on goes in. when i was putting the carb back in i over tightened and broke off the pin. i just decided to buy a boost bottle since they didnt have the pin at my lhs, and it was for an os engine i think. i had to shave some off of the pin to make it fit, which took a very long time. so i put serviceable locktite on the pin to keep it from leaking. well i was driving my truck for the first time since and it was ripping, seriously seemed powerful. well it fliped over and i ran up flipped it over and gave it throttle and it died. i then spent about 10 mins trying to start it again. could it be the loctite? is it ok to use that to stop leaks? well i guess ill rip it out again and try to find the problem. i really hope the engine isnt shot. any advice?

yes i was flooding it, i had to take the plug out and empty the chamber. well i got the engine out and checked for leaks. when i blew on the line i could hear air going through the exause, then i took off the header and when i tunr the fly wheel it seems to have weak compression and it hisses, along with bubbles coming up. i think its worn out, but it makes no sence, when i ran it, it was fast. how could this have happened?

well i got the piston and sleeve out, it seems like it should be alot harder to move the piston up and down. guess im gona order a piston, sleeve, and con rod tomarrow.

your telling me, man im broke to. might be a while befor i get money to fix it, i need a job. this is gona set me back on the video. well atleast i have a cool keychain now.
