Default air leak? please help

Ok well I got my new Fantom FR15 broke in finally....and it has been running perfectly....until now. As soon as I start it, without even touching the throttle, it revs up to almost full throttle and I have to kill it. Is this usually caused by an air leak? When I look at the throttle body it is all the way in (in the idle position) but it is runnig almost full throttle. If this is due to an air leak..can someone please tell me what I should do to correct the problem? This engine is brand new and I woudl assume the carb should be sealed tightly. Please help, thanks.

hmmm, i get this on my truck. I have a throttle adjustment, and when its all the way to one side my truck takes off without me doing anything. maybe thats the prob? or maybe its running too lean. if it is an air leak, change your tubing.

oh and fantoms i heard were fast...have fun with it![8D]

Well my throttle adjustment is fine, and I am actually still running it a bit on the rich side since it is still breaking in. Any other ideas?? Thanks

You might want to check and see if there are any kinks in the fuel line or if it might be pinched some where.

make sure your carb is all the way pushed down so they o ring is snug with the crankcase that could be your air leak and the nut shoudl be tight
