I'm not holding my breath, I'll bet those post are gone forever. Just seems to obvious that someone wanted to delete just those threads. I wonder if it wasn't a bandwith issue.

It was a rogue moderator who is now gone. We have removed the delete function at this point and only use recycle to ensure all posts/threads can be recovered.

I have the lost threads and am working on restoring them. There is an easy way and a hard way. I hope the easy way works because that one is actually hard and the hard way is REALLY COMPLEX!

Either way I'm fairly certain I can get back 99% of the posts in all the lost threads. The now ex-mod deleted all the largest car threads here. I will be consulting an attorney about filing suit against him for loss and damages so he can now sit, wait and wonder what will come from his actions.

It looks promising I can recover them all. Worse case may be that a few days or up to a week of the posts in each one could be lost but the weeks, months and years of posts in each will be saved.
