Basically.......when I pop them off, I replace. Especially if it's a race vehicle. I normally just use my hands to pop loose if necessary. If it's just a basher it's not a big deal to just pop it back on and reuse it for a while.

take needle nose pliars and pull them off and snap them on that way.

i tried it and bent the ball cup...i did it by hand...its all done now...my fingers can rest...

your ballcop must really be broke than!

I just pry them off with a flat blade screwdriver.

Grab the ball cup shaft with pliers and twist like you're trying to thread the rod into it.

Before you put them back on squeez them slightly with pliers so they are a little tighter when they go back on.

yeah, I use needle nose pliers. CLOSE to where the ball cup is stuck on the ball.. and twist downward or upward... and it comes off pretty easily that way...
