no but i seen in a magazine fantom makes a direct .18 drop in. should be plenty plenty fast for you.

thanks, I just checked out era models, they have a conversion kit for the .21 nitro rustler

the maxx conversion mounts wont work on a nitro rustler. a .21 is just too big, you would need a longer chassis to make room for it. even .18's are very hard to fit, i know the fantom/peak/epic .18's idle screws are unaccessable because they are blocked in the rustler's engine compartment. plus with the torque of a .21 or .18 you would be melting trans gears and going through diffs like crazy. nobody makes upgrade gears for the nitro rustler trans either. even if you loosen your slipper clutch you will end up melting through friction pegs.

Thanks, I Am Going To Reinstall The 2.5. 18 Or 21 Doesn't Sound Like A Good Fit After all.

i dont get how some .18 are faster than the 2.5 ? if u have a 2.5 motor why would u put a .18 in it?

Simple, the 2.5 is just CUBIC CENTIMETERS instead of being labled .15 CUBIC INCHES. Technology is advancing and engines are getting faster compared to your "loved traxxas" engines.
