As well as being into r/c cars, I am also into model trains. You should ask people in model railroad clubs about cameras because most people have atleast one and the model railroad companies have practically perfected the small wireless camera.

Ive placed a wireless video camera in a parkflyer with very good success, The E-bay cameras; I do have a couple of them and they are garbage. My camera of choice is the ones at blackwidowav.com, I have attempted to place a camera in a Rc10gt but I had some serious problems with vibration. You going to need to make a mount that absorbs the vibration to make any kind of good video. If you were to use an "Ebay Special" It need to be constantly tuned or the picture will fade out to static.

hey
I bought one on ebay , no audio, but the picture is good, for around 60 dollars. No audio dosen't matter much if you have good editing software. As far as the vibration? well ...little can be done with the small trucks going so fast, but I have reduced it quite a bit by fabricating a shock mount for it. Using the general design of the front tower of a rusty , machining it a bit bigger and doing a four point harness type "holster" with rubber bands, it helped alot!!! But you you really cant expect absolutelly smooth video when going 40 + miles an hour and a pebble is like a boulder!! but still....it is cool to watch!!!!
