Hmm i take it that your pro.15 is done? I rebuild engines as a profession, so hop to my site for directions on how to get it to me if you are interested.

Anyways, a good replacement for the truck is a fantom 12 or 15. If you don't want to spend 130-150, OS might have something they can throw at you for a decent price.

you wont be satisfied unless you w/ a higher end motor like the fantom or something of the like. despite what people say the TRX 2.5 is basically a race motor w/ the lines of a fantom etc. read the magazines, people who race the t maxx end up sticking w/ the 2.5 for power and the wieght savings. so go w/ something w/ at least 1.33 hp

thanks for the info. the truck originally came with a 2.5. I just locked this engine up after 5 gallons of fuel.
I have just installed the os15 in the rustler, and plan on using the fantom .12 in the rc10gt. I have bought a new rebuild kit and os carb for the 2.5. back up engine.

Bad news for TRX PRO 15 guys. I am already backed up 2 of those for rebuilds, but TRAXXAS is outta stock for all the parts I need. They said it could still be a couple weeks... they are one month overdue!
