I have upgraded my rc10gt with a lot! of metal parts and is staring to get slow and i am wondering what s the biggest fastest engine you could put in the RC10gt that it could handle? Please post what you think or what you have done
Sammy I feel like Im hijacking your thread, I guess Im doing the opposite as you. Im building up the RC10gt around the powerplant as you are deciding on the powerplant to put in a built up RC10gt. Id like to again suggest the Epic .18 it fits real well, And the numbers seem good, But I dont have the real world experience on the performance, But Im going to know real soon

rays89- nice. [8D] That's almost exactly how my gt is going to be. You need to get the rpm reciever box.

Thanx for the compliment. At the moment I have the original trannie mounted, Im going to break in the motor maybe even fry the original. Then put in the alunimum case with RR steel idler and diff gear. Im still waiting on the front alunimum shock tower. As for the RPM receiver box I just got one and my recever wont fit. It seems like when you change one thing you have to change another. The heavyweight flywheel I just got seems to small to use on a starterbox also, So Im running into some complications. At the moment Im keeping the stock flywheel on.

Will I figure out how to put my receiver in the Receiver box, Thought came to me about 2:00 AM, Just put the #@#$%@ thing in sideways....DUH. Simple problems with simple solutions seem always to get me, But when its more complex I tend not to have any problems. Well I decided to stop hijacking Sammy's thread. And open up a new one. I figure we dont have enough Official threads so I titled it the "Official Modified RC10gt thread" Pretty original I think.
