Default Masher 2000s for Nitro Evader ST

I went to my LHS and ordered some Masher 2000s today. About an hour after i left he called me and told me not to get them because they are too big and will damage my diffs. Has anyone had any problems with these tires on the evader?

i have them on my GT, my diff was fine, my idler gear stripped though, but then again its me driving. only thing it really affects if steering if u get front mashers. wheelies, damn, all the time, fun as anything.

Edit: Dont use them all the time, or u might do damage, but they are so fun to jump with...

well your engine will be always stressing over the big tires, tranny gears will strip eventually, front throttle servo gets weakin when u have them on the front (unless u have a REALLY nice servo), if u land wrong, you could mess up some turnbukles. lots of things. but i wouldnt worry about it, took my truck to like die from my mashers after 4 gallons of fuel! :P

just loosen ur slipper and it takes the stress off the engine.

also they seem to soften the landings a bit, because they smush more then normal tires cause theyre bigger.(also give you more ground clearance, which is good and bad)

this thread has uncovered some info bout the mashers that i never knew....i was gonna get em and run em non stop so what is another pair of tires that would look good increase ground clearance not as big as mashers 2k's and not do any damage at all

I havent had any problems other than traction (or lack thereof) on loose/dry clay. The mashers sure do make the evader look meaner though
