Default Engine Question...help please

Hey,
I was done at my local hobby shop buying the new Team Losi Graphite Stadium Truck (RTR) and he told me that the truck comes with a .15 engine. Now he also said that its illegal to race with a .15 engine at the off-road track...where I'll be racing soon. So I said to him that I have a new NovaRossi CX12 .12(pullstart) sitting at home that I would like to use. And he said it was absolutely fine to drop this engine right into the truck.

But my problem is that will the engine handle off-road? I mean it handles on-road VERY VERY good (hehe)..but will it still be alright for off-road? And I do look after the engine very well, so the engine wont be treated like **** either. But I mean my mate down at the hobby shop that was selling me the truck does race ALL types of off-road cars and trucks and he told me that I could put the NovaRossi in it.

What do you guys think?

Thanks Alot!

Regards,
Nathan

I'm sure that the engine well do just fine it's the gearing and shock set-up that I would focus on, Tuning for the track would also be a key issue with the set- up. RED

I dont know why they say a cirtain engine is "off road" or "on road" because you can use them in either condition, like the os .12 tr "on road" but lots of people at the off road track use them no problem.

I think your engine will be a blast to drive in that xxx-nt

good luck
