Default Racing N-Rusty

Hey guys I have a Nitro Rustler with a 2.5. I got bored of beating my truck too death so ive decided for laughs too race it. Now I got some 40 WT oil which will be good my for my track and some road hawgz for the rear. Any tips and making the tank be somewhat race worthy. Thanks

Well 1st off... u cant race without a pullstart or anything other than a e-z push button electric start
And get like a 125cc tank 4 it!

hhmm 40wt oil... yet it sounds like your running on an on-road track... when I drive my car on-road, I switch my shocks out with some that have 20wt oil, and some soft springs... this gives a lower ride hight, and help the handling significantly...

125cc tank? If the races are using the ROAR rules it will never get pass. he doesnt need a pull start, thats why alot of good racers have the box starter.

-Get Rc-parts bell cranks. First off. *www.rc-parts.com*

-Get all around big bores with RC-Parts springs and 40wt oil or w.e you prefer. *www.Towerhobbies.com*

-get a pull start (or starter box if you have the money.)*www.rcboyz.com*

-upgrade the front steering servo to a 645mg hitec servo for some serious turning power. *www.towerhobbies.com*

-Hump pack battery pack (rechargable) *www.onlybatterypacks.com*

-Boca Bearings all around.

-Dirt hawgs or Gladiators all around

Optional: CF or Alum for some extra toughness, Motor Saver Air Filter

If you get all of those your in for some good racing.

-Unbreak

I don't know, I dont want to put too much $ into it im savin up for a 1/8 buggy.
