Hey,
I have an issue with a servo. It is the standard throttle servo. It was the traxxas one that came with my car. I have had the car for about a week. I was driving when suddenly the car took off and It would slow down or brake. I got it and the throttle servo wouldn't move. I took It apart to see the problem but it looked normal so I think one of the gears keeps falling out of place. Then It did it again. I smacked the servo then It worked again.
. Does anyone know a way to maybe stop this from happening.
Thanks,
Jeff

Well I'm a big HiTEC fan so lets see HS425 pro has ball [email protected] , dont really need anything with alot of torque, for the steering a HS5645 high torque @60bux Try tower hobbies or your local hobbie shop, RED

What you might want to do is just get like a HS 625mg(or any good servo) servo for the steering, then stick the traxxas steering one on the throttle... The HS-625MG is 40 bucks on tower, and it is more than enough torque, and excellent speed...

i am using the futaba s30003 servos for my steering and throttle. i had problems with traxxas servos and receivers. they just cant make that stuff good. so get a new system because you will have more problems later on. this is the radio i have if you are intrested its the futaba magnum 2-pl

Thanks,
I probobly just going to get a new radio. Now the throttle servo locks up or is always just going crazy. It moves even if the radio is off. So when I drive and it move to throttle and it shoots off. Also, the steering servo is doing the same thing it move and then it barely goes back and forth. It move slower than my old cars stardard servo that couln't turn left. Do you think this would be a good one http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=LXEDP1**&P=7

Thanks,
Also does anyone have one? How long is the range on it? How long do batteries last? Do u get any interference? Are the servos strong? Do the radio or the servos have many problems.
