Your throttle linkage isn't setup right.

Remove your air-cleaner. Hit the the brakes; see how the carb closes?

i had a problem with the linkage set up, and it was that everytime i pulled the glow igniter out it would shut off. i took it 2 my hobbie shop and they fixed it for me and told me that the linkage set up was inccorect, and they fixed it. 2 days later this happened. so i dono what is really wrong. thanks

I bought a nitro MT and it had the same problem. Figured out the clutch shoes were installed backward. They self engage when they are backward and won't slip at idle causing the engine to quit when you brake. Since you changed out the engine I'm assuming you worked on the clutch too.

Take your air filter off and apply the brake. If your idle screw is not set right then the carb will close. Get this set right then adjust the throttle on your controller trim so that it does not idle too fast. You should have approx 1mm gap open when throttle fully closed. Make sure all is right and that the brakes are not binding when ticking over.
