Remove your air-cleaner. Hit the the brakes; see how the carb closes?

i had a problem with the linkage set up, and it was that everytime i pulled the glow igniter out it would shut off. i took it 2 my hobbie shop and they fixed it for me and told me that the linkage set up was inccorect, and they fixed it. 2 days later this happened. so i dono what is really wrong. thanks

RE: Have a problem with my HPI MT
I bought a nitro MT and it had the same problem. Figured out the clutch shoes were installed backward. They self engage when they are backward and won't slip at idle causing the engine to quit when you brake. Since you changed out the engine I'm assuming you worked on the clutch too.

Your throttle linkage isn't setup right.
Remove your air-cleaner. Hit the the brakes; see how the carb closes?
