Default Nitro evader st problems

I 've had this nitro evader for awhile now and taken really good care of it and never run it to hard but recently something weird has been going on. Once the car is started it almost imetiately dies unless I keep on the gas and drive it. The ital is set to standard and the car actually itals way to much once the car has been running for a few min, and when I hold the break down to stop the car from italing so much the engine starts to die down and then it stalls. The car only itals like this once it has been running, but when I try and start it before it has been ran like I said earlier it won't ital at all. The slipper is not to tight the glow plug is new my high and low end mixtures are set right the throttle trim is not the problem and the ital is set plenty but not too much. If anyone knows what the problem is please help. I'm fimilar with everything on these cars except the clutches and differantials so if it has to do with one of these please give me a detailed description on how to fix them. Thanks

Sounds like your clutch spring is dead...stretched that is. The clutch stays engaged so it won't sit still and idle, but it runs under throttle just fine...

A buddy of mine has one and his clutch springs failed much earlier than they seemed to have should. Use this spring, it'll last longer and you don't have to buy new shoes like if you go the duratrax route...plus it's under a buck and the duratrax piece is about 7 bucks ...

Frost will that spring work with the MIP 4-n-1 for the GT?

Nah, it's alot longer than the MIP spring...
