what sand u driving on? when i went, the sand was flat and hard. get paddles, also bring LOTS of clean air filters, run 1-2 furl filters and i would cover up the batteries and electronics.

A little off topic, but I have been told in the past that if you ziptie a piece of pantyhose around your filter it keeps a good bit of sand out of the filter...haven't tried it myself...but I suppose it works in theory...just a suggegstion.

Be glad you dont live in Texas!!! There's nothing between us and HELL but a barbed wire fence!!!!!!!!! It gets so hot here in teh summer you can take an egg and put it on the hood of a black car in the middle of August and watch it cook!!!!!!!!! Anyhow back on the subject... you probably wont want to use the buggy shock boots because the shock shaft for buggies are generally shorter than those on a truck. The truck shocks shafts are usually longer so the suspension can have more travel but in rare occasions I have seen the same shocks on both cars and trucks.

I used to live in Texas... I miss it[sm=frown.gif]
Maybe in a couple years I will move somewhere between here and Texas. I figure WI is to cold and the weather is screwed up and Texas is pretty hot so somewhere inbetween. Besides I only know of 3 tracks here in WI and they are all 45 min drive away from Milwaukee.

Motersaver makes an airfilter that has a platic cover that clips on over the top that is suppose to be a dirty/sand gaurd. I would take a look at it. I would also zip tie pantihose over the stinger on your exaust. Shock boots. Electronic guards. Tires don't really matter because you could use tractionless tires and still have a blast!! Just in a diffrent way.
