RC10GT!
Hey,
My grandpa sent me one of his like 6 nitro cars but I didnt know what it was. I didnt even know that he had nitro cars, hes moved on to electric now and is giving me some of his. Well!, turns out its a RC10GT! I cleaned it all up. Only downside is that its the old version and the engines head screws are striped and it wont start. The engine seems like a very old OS product. I like how frickin light the car is. This thing seems like a big racer which is what im going to do.
Anyways. I need help on the engine issue. Should I just get the case for 20$ off tower or get a new engine for it. I think the BHP for it is like .27/ 18000 rpms maxx. That seems REALLY slow, but who knows. But I did take apart the engine and the piston and sleeve look surprisingly good. I don't have a whole lot of money. I think I should get a fantom FR18 for my rustler as a early christmas present with some money and use the 2.5 in the GT (wow that thing would fly with a 2.5), but am very undecided. Need advice on this one.

Yea i'd deffinatly get a new engine and stick with the GT. Anything in the os line is awesome. I'd probably go with the .15 cv-x series, same price as the .12 series and you get that tad more oomph.

Wow, that thing is an archeological find, call the smithsonian
seriously, i'd fix the engine and let it hang around for a while, but definitely replace it with an OS CV of some sort
I can't argue with the .15CV-X, tough little engine and about twice as much power as that thing has.

more or less, they're the same thing, ICT.
graphite=carbon, and it's weaved, so it's gotta be CF

RE: RC10GT!
Hey that looks exactly like mine except the engine.
The OS .15 CV-X is a great engine. Starts up in 2 or 3 pulls. Holds a tune great Dont over rev it though. I snapped the connecting rod when i jumped it with out letting off the throttle.
