If you are talking about HPI Nitro MT 2, then I can tell you that stock MT 2 can go 40mph. I'm not sure about the Cen MT 2.

nitro rustler goes 47mph or change the clutch bell and 50mph

cen mt2 goes 45mph

hpi mt2 goes around 40mph

overall hpi mt2 is the best. rustler too much plastic. cen mt2 is alright but not dependable. xtm x-cellerator is cheaper than the ruslter and more durable and is a staium truck and goes 50mph.

rustler300, xcell200, hpimt290, cenmt260

a mt2 would handle a lot better its 4wd if you bought a brand new one and put a os 18 in it it would probably be as fast or faster than the rustler 2.5 also 2wd trucks have a few mph on 4wd trucks.
